The hat and the bed on the cover look extremely dated, as if they were cut out from an old newspaper. The colors used in the image are solid and very limited in variation, only consisting of hot pink, white, black, grey, and a light brown. The image itself was simple, but it was too simple: the bed wasn't centered, the hat appeared to have been randomly placed on the bed, and there wasn't enough color variation to make the image interesting or stand the test of time. The position of the text also appears very dated; nowadays, people place the text all throughout the cover instead of only the top. The font itself is fine, but the "full capital" style doesn't really fit for the older style for the rest of the cover of the book.
